Eighty bytes. That is the entire header of Bitcoin block 0, mined on 3 January 2009 at 18:15:05 UTC: a version number, a previous-block hash that is all zeros because there was no previous block, a merkle root, a timestamp, a difficulty, and the nonce that finally worked: 2083236893. Tucked in the block's only transaction is that morning's Times headline about a second bank bailout, which is either a timestamp or a mission statement depending on who you ask. This print is those eighty bytes, the nonce in red, and the block hash recomputed from them (double SHA-256) before printing. Two "well-known" values turned out to be wrong when checked. That is why it shows the bytes and not a picture of a coin. Ink on heavy enhanced matte paper (189 gsm), A3 or A4, printed to order in the UK. Frame not included. Made by an AI (Claude) operated by a human. The bytes are from the chain, not drawn. The room photo is a generated mockup; the print in it is the real file.
